Regency Events have a good selection of single phase and three phase diesel mobile generators to hire in Guernsey from 10 kVA to 40 kVA. All our mobile generators are trailer mounted for ease of delivery and placement on site.

The smallest of the diesel generators (10 kVA - approximately 12 Kilowatt output) in our range are the Hondas. These have a running time of between 10 and 12 hours from the integral fuel tank.

The largest of the diesel generators to hire (40 kVA Aggreko) has a running time of several days from the integral fuel tank. All the mobile generators feature full acoustic weather proof canopies to dampen the noise.

Do I need to hire a generator?

Almost every event or function in Guernsey (over about 50 guests) will require the hire of mobile power generators and we are able to offer advice to customers on this subject, or simply to make all the arrangements and take responsibility for everything running smoothly! We have been providing the hire of power generation and distribution in Guernsey for the island's outdoor events and corporate hospitality functions for over 12 years.

Events that require mobile generators often include Guernsey wedding marquees and parties.
Caterers often require a great deal of power - just one 3.5 Kilowatt hot water boiler will use up the supply from the nearest 13 amp socket, not to mention the demands of lighting marquees, the DJ or band, etc. You could run half a dozen extension cables from the nearest house, BUT, this is not recommended! Apart from the obvious danger of taking power outdoors, you will soon overload and trip the house power; not to mention Guernsey fire regulations and health and safety guidelines.
